Beverage Distributor Information and Container Registration

Do I need to register to be a beverage distributor?

Any person who sells, by wholesale or other means, beverages in beverage containers to a retailer in the province must be registered as a beverage distributor. 

How do I register as beverage distributor?

To register as a beverage distributor, a Beverage Distributor Registration Application Form must be filled out and submitted to the department. 

Is there a fee to register as a beverage distributor?

There is no fee to register as a beverage distributor. 

Are there requirements regarding beverage containers?

Yes, all beverage container types, as defined in the Beverage Container Act General Regulations, sold or distributed in Prince Edward Island must first be registered with the Department. 

How do I register a beverage container?

To register a beverage container, a Beverage Container Registration Application Form must be filled out and submitted to the department. There is no fee to register a beverage container.
