The Strongest Families Program provides high quality, timely, no cost mental health care for Prince Edward Island children and youth and their families.
Who can get help?
The program is for families with children and youth, aged 3 to 17. It has proven to be helpful for children with:
- behaviour disorders or significant issues at home and/or school
- anxiety or excessive worry
- nighttime bedwetting
How long will it take to get support?
There is no wait time for the online programming and telehealth services. Also, your family will not need to travel or change your normal routine to take part.
What is the cost?
There is registration cost or fee.
How does the program work?
Trained coaches provide weekly telephone and internet support on your schedule to help you work through the program
How do I get into the program?
You can be referred to the program through a primary care provider or community mental health services by calling 1-866-833-5443.
