The purpose of the AccessAbility Advisory Council is to provide input, consultation and advice to the minister on issues affecting individuals with disabilities.

Islanders who serve on the council are appointed from among individuals who apply through Engage PEI.

The minister responsible is the Minister of Social Development and Housing.
