Following a telephone threat, Spring Park Elementary School has been evacuated. All students and staff are safe and police are onsite assessing the threat.
Students have been sent home for the remainder of the day. All students will follow their early closure procedures.
Students have been moved to their evacuation site at Spring Park United Church and will be dismissed from this site. Busses will depart from Spring Park United Church at 1:15 p.m., following the normal early closure procedures. For walkers and those students whose early closure plan involves being picked up, parents are reminded that the students are currently at Spring Park United Church.
