District 11 Charlottetown-Parkdale by-election will be November 27

A by-election to fill a recent vacancy in the district of Charlottetown-Parkdale will be held November 27.

Premier Wade MacLauchlan made the announcement following today's (October 31) cabinet meeting.

“It is important that residents of Charlottetown-Parkdale be represented in a timely a manner as possible in the Legislative Assembly, which opens in November,” the premier said. “Prince Edward Islanders are known for a nation-leading rate of voter participation, and I encourage all constituents of the district of Charlottetown-Parkdale to take part in the democratic process by getting involved and casting a vote in the November 27 by-election.”
