Hon. Rob Lantz, Premier of Prince Edward Island, issued the following statement on the passing of former MLA, Tom Dunphy:
“I was sorry to hear of the passing of Tom Dunphy, former MLA for 3rd Queens and former Minister of Transportation and Public Works.
Tom served in the Legislative Assembly for ten years, including time in cabinet. He brought a strong sense of community to his work and contributed to the province in many roles throughout his life, including as a teacher and public servant.
I extend my condolences to his wife Marion, their children and grandchildren, and all those who are remembering him.”
