The purpose of this issue brief is to provide a comprehensive picture of what is known about sexual violence against women in Canada.

Women in PEI: A Statistical Review provides a statistical snapshot of the female population in PEI and sex-disaggregated data related to education, work and income, health, justice, violence against women and women in

leadership.

This review is intended to provide a profile of women’s participation in education, business, government, and other aspects of community life.
