Apply for Verification of Eligibility as a Substitute Teacher

You must hold a valid PEI Teacher’s licence and have your eligibility verified by the Registrar in order to substitute teach at the certified rate in a PEI public K-12 school. Please complete the online form below to apply for Verification of Eligibility as a Substitute Teacher. Please note: It is a substitute teacher’s responsibility to register with the employing education authority initially and for each subsequent school year to ensure their name is added to the substitute teacher call centre system.
