Disclosure of Gifts or Personal Benefits

The conflict of interest disclosure process for executive division employees including deputy ministers was significantly enhanced in 2015-2016 and the process was reviewed and updated in 2023. Specifically, the process changed from self-identification of potential conflicts of interests to full disclosure of assets, liabilities and interests to the Ethics and Integrity Commissioner at least once a year. Post-employment restrictions were also added.

The rules relating to gifts and personal benefits are set out in the Conflict of Interest Policy for Executive Division (section 6). Gifts or benefits disclosed under subsection 6(3) will be posted.
