Work is underway on Route 7, Rustico Road in Mayfield to widen roads with paved shoulders.
Work will start at the intersection of Rustico Road and New Glasgow Road and proceed north for 2,000 metres.
Dates:
Friday, September 5, with completion expected by Monday, September 8.
Traffic:
Two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect.
Safety:
- Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Reduce speed in the area.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
