You can apply for a restricted licence for work in a restricted area of electrical installations in PEI. You or the individual performing the work must be a registered technician for this licence to be issued. The licence authorizes the registered technician identified on the licence to perform the restricted electrical work indicated on the licence. You can also apply online for a Registered Technician’s License. For more information, refer to the Electrical Inspection Act and Code Regulations.
