Asphalt resurfacing will improve road quality and drainage on Route 2 in Mount Pleasant.
The work will begin approximately 70 metres north of the intersection of Route 2 and Harts Gravel Road and proceeds north on Route 2 for 1,300 meters.
Dates:
Construction starts Monday, August 25 and will last approximately two weeks.
Traffic:
Two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. Delays can be expected.
Safety:
- Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Reduce speed in the area.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
