About the Charlottetown Area Development Corporation

The mandate of Charlottetown Area Development Corporation (CADC) is to provide innovation, investment, and expertise for individual projects of economic and social benefit that government or the private sector is not prepared to execute alone. CADC fills two important roles – to act as a catalyst with the private sector and to bring together various levels of the business community to initiate development projects and urban renewal in the Greater Charlottetown area.

The Province of Prince Edward Island is a majority shareholder of CADC and works with its other partners, the City of Charlottetown, Town of Stratford and Town of Cornwall.
