About the Council of the PEI Chiropractic Association

The Council regulates the practice of chiropractors in the province, promotes standards and safeguards the welfare of the public with regard to the services of chiropractors.

Who serves on the board?

The Council is made up of three members nominated by the Association and appointed by the Minister as detailed in Engage PEI, of whom

  • (a) two shall be members of the Association; and
  • (b) one shall be a layperson representing the interests of the general public.

Who is the minister responsible?

The minister responsible is the Minister of Health and Wellness.
