Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination

The best way to protect yourself and others from the flu and COVID-19 is to get vaccinated each year. It is safe to get the flu shot and the COVID-19 vaccine at the same time. 

Where to get your flu and COVID-19 shot

Each fall, usually in early October, Health PEI Public Health Nursing begin offering Community Vaccination Clinics at locations across the province. These clinics offer COVID-19 and Influenza vaccine to individuals 6 months of age and older. Vaccine will also be available through your family physician or nurse practitioner and at pharmacies across the province.

FluMist® (nasal spray) is available only at the Public Health Nursing Community Vaccination Clinics.

Cost

Flu and COVID-19 vaccine are free to all individuals living in Prince Edward Island. You must bring your PEI Health Card with you to the clinic.

Vaccination is also available through local pharmacies across the province. Connect with your local pharmacy online or call to schedule an appointment. Vaccines may also be available through your family doctor or nurse practitioner.

If you are 75 years of age or older, and you would like more information about RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine or would like to schedule an appointment, please call 1-844-975-3303 or your local Public Health Nursing office.
