COVID-19 outbreaks declared over at QEH Unit 7 and Prince Edward Home

The COVID-19 outbreaks on Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Unit 7 and Prince Edward Home’s Fox Meadow Household have been declared over.

Patients in acute care facilities are permitted three (3) Partners in Care and Patients in hospital awaiting Long Term Care and residents in Long Term Care are permitted six (6) Partners in Care with two partners in care permitted at one time.  

Health PEI would like to thank staff for their dedication in managing and limiting the COVID-19 outbreak within this facility. 

The public is reminded that Health PEI continues to require people to wear a mask at all its hospitals, health centres, service areas and offices for the safety of patients and staff.
