In the event of a work stoppage affecting postal mail delivery, the government of Prince Edward Island will ensure alternative pickup and delivery methods are available for important transactions with Islanders and businesses.

Government departments have identified which services will be impacted by a work disruption at Canada Post. In the event of a disruption in mail services, the provincial government will provide information about alternative delivery methods for mail relating to specific services such as social assistance, medical test results, maintenance enforcement and renovation programs.

Additional information will be posted early next week on www.princeedwardisland.ca, shared on social media and advertised through Island news media.
