Chief Coroner Dr. Terry Magennis confirms that an inquest will be held for the deaths of Danielle White and Olivia Rodd. Ms. White, 47, and Ms. Rodd, nine, died in July 2020.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding these deaths. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.
Dr. Craig Malone, inquest coroner, represented by Chris Montigny of HR Atlantic, expects to hear from witnesses over five days. The inquest is scheduled for December 6 to 10, 2021 at the Sir Louis Henry Davies Law Courts at 42 Water Street, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
