Islanders invited to free information session on breast cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Islanders will have the opportunity to learn more about breast cancer in Prince Edward Island at a free information session. 

Breast Cancer on PEI: An Island Check-Up 

Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Hotel on Pownal, Pownal Lecture Room, 146 Pownal Street

Between 9:30-11:30 am

Dr. Carol McClure, provincial cancer surveillance epidemiologist, will present information from the statistical report about breast cancer on the Island. Islanders can get a copy of the report at Report on Cancer Statistics in Prince Edward Island: Breast Cancer (2018).

The session is a partnership between Health PEI and the PEI Breast Cancer Information Partnership, which represents breast cancer related groups.
