Municipal elections results will be available online

Municipal elections will be held across Prince Edward Island on November 5 and the results will be available online.

Islanders can view the results as follows:

- unofficial election results for Charlottetown, Summerside, Stratford and Cornwall will be posted by Elections PEI at www.electionspei.ca

- unofficial election results for Three Rivers will be posted at https://threeriverspei.com

- unofficial election results for all other municipalities having an election on November 5 will be posted on the provincial government website at 2018 Municipal Election Summary Report

You can vote in a municipal election if you:

  • are a Canadian citizen;
  • are at least 18 years of age or older;
  • have lived in PEI for at least 6 months before election day; and
  • are ordinarily a resident in the municipality on election day

Voters must bring:

  • one piece of government identification  with their name and address, OR 
  • two pieces of identification or documents with their name on both and address on at least one.

Voters who cannot prove their current address can bring two pieces of identification with their name and sign a declaration at the poll.
