Provincial parks and island trail systems, including the Confederation Trail, closed for clean-up; provincial supports update

Provincial crews are still clearing large debris from roadways and many recreational spaces across the Island as part of recovery efforts.
For work crew safety, residents and visitors are urged to avoid provincial parks, Island trail systems, and other areas where power restoration and debris clean-up efforts are underway.
Residents are reminded to keep safety top of mind when travelling in and around these areas. Pedestrians, cyclists and motorists should avoid work sites or places where poles, lines or debris can be considered a public safety risk.
Motorists are to slow down and obey traffic control personnel and measures while crews are working on power restoration and debris clean-up.
