The respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) outbreak on the Land household at Summerside’s Wedgewood Manor has been declared over. The outbreaks of RSV and COVID-19 on Sea household remain in effect.

Visitors to Wedgewood Manor will continue to be restricted to three partners-in-care for each resident, with only one partner-in-care present at a time. Visitor restrictions will remain in place until the outbreaks are declared over.

All visitors to Health PEI facilities are reminded they must wear a mask at all times, including at patient/resident bedside, and follow posted COVID-19 safety protocols.

Visitors are also asked to stay away if they are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness.
