Statement by Premier Dennis King on Nova Scotia Election Result

Hon. Dennis King, Premier of Prince Edward Island issued the following statement:

“I want to extend my congratulations to my friend and Premier-Designate Tim Houston and his team on their successful election result last night.   

Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island have a close connection and I look forward to working collaboratively with Premier-Designate Tim Houston on regional initiatives that will help Atlantic Canada succeed as we set our gaze to post-pandemic times.   

I also want to thank Iain Rankin for his leadership. Iain took on the role of Premier at a challenging time during a worldwide pandemic and it was an honour to work beside him to help keep our region safe.”
