Important Notice: Before you Renew your Vehicle Registration, please be aware that due to a temporary supply chain disruption, validation stickers for January 2027 and 2031 are currently unavailable.

  • You can proceed with your vehicle registration renewal online as usual; no additional steps are required.
  • Please keep your current validation sticker displayed on your license plate until the new sticker is mailed to you along with your updated registration.
  • Your renewal will be processed normally, and your registration will remain valid during this period.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Canada Post Update: As of August 1, the national overtime ban remains in effect following the latest vote by the Canadian Union of Post Workers. Should a postal strike occur and mail service is disrupted, delays in receiving important documents related to vehicle registration are possible. For this reason, online renewals will be suspended. Island residents can visit any Access PEI location to renew a vehicle’s registration. In the case of a strike, details will be provided. For questions, call Contact PEI at 1-833-PEI(734)-1873.
