Islanders continue to make positive impacts to their communities by participating in government agencies, boards and commissions.
This month, close to 40 Islanders have been appointed or reappointed to 16 government boards.
“Islanders have a great deal of knowledge that is extremely valuable in helping us chart the future of Prince Edward Island together. In a year like no other, I continue to be humbled by Islanders’ steadfast commitment to sharing their ideas. This is how we will get our province back on its feet and also find new and creative ways to build it up together.”
- Premier Dennis King
Some of the boards currently seeking new members include:
- Environmental Advisory Council
