This report summarizes what the PEI Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (PEI DAF) has heard so far during its consultations with clients and stakeholders.

The Estimates represent the financial plan of the province for the fiscal year commencing April 1, 1998, and are presented by the government in support of its request to the Legislative Assembly for authority to spend public monies.

The Commissioner, Horace Carver, QC, was appointed under the Public Inquiries Act to inquire into, examine, conduct research, consult with Islanders, and make recommendations related to the Land Protection Act.
