Making the Connection Conference 2025
The Making the Connection Conference 2025 is Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday October 30, 2025 at the Rodd Royalty in Charlottetown PEI.
This is an educational opportunity for individuals working to improve care of older adults in long-term care sponsored by the Department of Health and Wellness, Health PEI and the Nursing Home Association of Prince Edward Island.
This year’s program will include interactive presentations on several important topics in long term care homes:
- Caring for residents with behavioral and psychosocial symptoms of dementia
- Balancing autonomy, rights and safety
- Ageism in healthcare
- Communicating with families
- Quality work life and teamwork
- Leveraging diversity
- Recreation therapy and more!
What is the registration fee?
The conference registration fee includes daily lunch and nutrition breaks, education sessions and access to a tradeshow.
Attendee conference fee: $300 + HST = $345
Vendors and exhibitors: $1,000 + HST = $1,150
