Asphalt resurfacing underway in West St. Peters

Asphalt resurfacing on Route 2 in West St. Peters will improve road quality and drainage.

Work begins approximately 350 meters west of the intersection of Route 2 and Settlement Road and proceeds west along Route 2 for 1,000 meters. 

Dates: 

Work is currently underway, with completion expected by Friday, September 5. 

Traffic: 

Two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. Delays can be expected.

Safety: 

• Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
• Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
• Reduce speed in the area.
• Obey flaggers and signs.
• Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
