Each annual reports each cover a 3 year period. The Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Action shares responsibilities regarding air quality and the monitoring of air quality with the federal government. This shared responsibility is attained through a partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada where the provinces, territories and federal government are signatories to the Memorandum of Understanding Respecting the National Air Pollution Surveillance Program (NAPS).
