PEI Seafood Sector Climate Risk and Opportunity Assessment

The PEI Government has recently conducted a Seafood Sector Climate Risk and Opportunity Assessment. The Department of Fisheries, Tourism, Sport, and Culture, ICF, and industry partners assessed the potential risks and opportunities associated with climate change hazards for key species and infrastructure assets in the province's aquaculture, commercial fishing, and processing sectors. The assessment was an important part of the development of the PEI Seafood Sector Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.
