Project Addressing Red Tape (ART) is a government-wide initiative of the Province of Prince Edward Island to streamline processes to increase PEI’s economic and business competitiveness without compromising public health, safety or the natural environment.
A sector roundtable is focused on the following outcomes:
- developing collaborative relationships between government and key business stakeholders;
- implementing a citizen-centred regulatory reform process;
- reducing duplication; developing codes of practice; and
- improving customer service by eliminating unnecessary steps, rules, and processes.
