The Prince Edward Island Student Drug Use Report describes the prevalence and drug use trends for tobacco, alcohol, cannabis and other drugs as reported by PEI students in grades 6 through 12.
Data and figures presented in this report are based on the youth smoking survey results for the following years:
- 2004‐05
- 2006‐07
- 2008‐09
- 2010‐11
- 2012‐13
It is not meant to be a full discussion on potential reasons for changing rates or methods to reduce student substance use, but rather a starting point for these discussions.
