Asphalt widening and resurfacing for Mayfield

Asphalt widening and resurfacing on Route 13 in Mayfield will provide a smoother surface for vehicles and widen the roads with paved shoulders. 

Work at Route 13 Mayfield will start approximately 570 metres north of Toronto Road and Route 13 and proceeds north for 1,500 metres. 

Dates: 

Wednesday, September 3, with completion expected by Friday, September 5.

Traffic: 

Two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect.

Safety: 

• Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
• Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
• Reduce speed in the area.
• Obey flaggers and signs.
• Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
